Route publication process

When you submit a route for publication on Visorando, it goes through a validation process before being published and made available to the community. This process is crucial, as it ensures that high-quality, consistent content is published online.

Throughout this process, your route may go through various statuses that reflect its progress through the publication and moderation process. This article aims to help you better understand the meaning of each of these statuses.

Routes that aren't in the publication process can have one of two statuses:

  • Viewable via link: The route is only visible to people who have the link
  • Private: No one but you can view this route

This status can be changed at any time via the website, as explained in this article.

After clicking on Publish my route, it is now in the publication process.
From now on, its privacy setting can no longer be changed, automatically becomes Viewable via link, and the various stages of the selection process will be displayed depending on the situation:

A moderator is currently checking your route.

Some changes are required before your route can be published. An email detailing the changes required has been sent to you.

Your route could not be published as it does not meet one or more of our requirements. An email containing detailed explanations has been sent to you.

Your route is now available to the whole community, will appear in Visorando’s search results, and on your profile page if you have a public profile.
