Publishing a multi-day tour on Visorando
Have you completed a lovely multi-day tour? We encourage you to share it with the community! It could inspire and guide others on their future adventures.
Throughout the publication process, our team of moderators and experienced authors are on hand to advise you and help you prepare your publication. That’s because every route submitted is reviewed, edited and approved by our moderation team before it goes live.
Please note that getting a route published may take up to two weeks, depending on the current number of routes in the publication process.
Also note that, for the time being, multi-stage tours can only be created and published via our website.
Requirements
Before publishing your route, please make sure all of the following requirements are met.
If your route does not go against any of the requirements, we suggest that you read our editorial guidelines and then get started right away!
How to publish a multi-day tour?
- First, you need to plot an individual route for each stage
- Once all the stages have been plotted, you can create a multi-stage tour to link the stages together under a single main page
- Each stage of your tour must be fully completed before you can request its publication. To do this, follow this process from step 2 onwards
- Request the publication of all your stages by going to each route and clicking on the green Publish my route button
- If this is your first publication request, you will initially only be able to submit a single stage. Once this has been published, you can then request the publication of the following stages simultaneously
- Your routes are now being moderated. They will be reviewed, corrected if necessary, and then approved by a team of moderators who ensure the quality of the routes published on Visorando
- Once all your stages have been published, you can request the publication of the main page details. To do this, and in the same way as before, go to the route details page and click on the green Publish my route button
If you have any questions, you can ask for help on the Authors' Forum, get in touch via the support form or read our recommendations for getting routes published.
